Over the years, Muscat has undergone significant growth, transforming from a network of coastal settlements into a vibrant metropolitan hub. This transformation has required strategic investments in infrastructure, green spaces, and sustainable urban planning, ensuring that development aligns with Oman’s long-term vision.

Muscat Municipality plays a leading role in shaping the city’s future by enhancing public spaces, modernizing infrastructure, and fostering a balanced approach to urbanization. In line with this commitment, we are delighted to invite local and international architecture studios to express their interest in Muscat Municipality’s Design Competition 2025. This prestigious competition offers a unique opportunity to design a landmark that symbolizes Muscat’s future vision—a structure that harmonizes contemporary design with Omani identity while ensuring practical feasibility, financial viability, and environmental responsibility.
